Terms of Service
Terms for using FeatureToggle: accounts, subscriptions, API keys, and acceptable use.
Agreement
These terms govern your use of FeatureToggle. By creating an account or using the service, you accept them. If you do not agree, do not use FeatureToggle.
The service
FeatureToggle provides a dashboard to manage features and a read-only HTTP API and SDK for customer applications.
You manage features in the dashboard. Your applications read resolved values through the API or SDK.
Accounts
WorkOS AuthKit handles signup and sign-in at app.featuretoggle.com. You are responsible for your credentials and for who you invite to your organization.
One WorkOS organization maps to one customer business workspace on FeatureToggle.
Subscriptions
Paid plans are billed through Polar. Plan limits, including sync allowances and environment roles, are enforced per your active product.
You manage upgrades, downgrades, and payment methods through the Polar customer portal linked from the dashboard.
API keys
You create API keys per environment in the dashboard. We show the full key once at creation. You must keep keys confidential.
Keys with the ft_test_ prefix work only from loopback addresses at the API. Keys with the ft_live_ prefix are for deployed applications.
Your applications
You are responsible for how your applications use feature values and for compliance with laws that apply to your product and your users.
Acceptable use
You may not abuse the API, circumvent rate or plan limits, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with other customers, or use FeatureToggle in violation of applicable law.
Availability and changes
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service.
We will give reasonable notice when practical for material changes that affect paid customers.
Intellectual property
FeatureToggle owns the platform, documentation, and branding. You own the feature configuration and data you create in the dashboard.
Disclaimer
FeatureToggle is provided "as is" without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted operation.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, FeatureToggle's total liability for claims arising from the service is limited to the fees you paid in the twelve months before the claim.
We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
Termination
You may cancel your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms.
After termination, we handle your data as described in our Privacy Policy.
Changes to these terms
We post revisions on this page with an updated date. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the revised terms.
